Instead of sleeping in, I decided to get outside and take some photographs. In order to compensate for the dull lighting, I used my flash to bring out contrast and add interest to the photograph. I used my hand to shield the snowflakes near the lens from getting hit with the flash and obstructing the picture. This is a 1 second exposure at ISO 100. A tripod was used to get optimum sharpness, and an aperture of f/12 gives the depth of field.
